Account statement password

For an IndusInd Bank savings or current account statement, try these in order:

1. Date of birth: DDMMYYYY — Works across IndusNet, IndusMobile and e-statement emails.

Credit card statement password

Card statements usually use a different format from account statements:

1. Name + birthday: First 4 letters of your name in CAPITALS + DDMM of your date of birth
2. Date of birth: DDMMYYYY

The rules people get wrong

• Case matters. Name-based formats are in CAPITALS.
• Use the name the bank has, not the one you go by. If your statement says RAJESH KUMAR SHARMA, the first four letters are RAJE.
• DDMM is four digits with leading zeros. 7 March is 0703, not 73.
• Joint accounts use the primary holder's details.
• No spaces, ever — even where the format looks like two parts.

Downloading a fresh statement

1. Sign in to IndusNet and open Accounts → Statements.
2. Choose Mini, Ad-hoc or Monthly statement, set the date range, and download.
3. For cards, open Credit Cards → Statements in IndusNet or the IndusMobile app.

A statement you download while signed in is often not password protected — the protection exists because the file travels by email. If the password is fighting you, re-downloading is usually faster than guessing.

If none of them work

• Search your inbox for the covering email and read the line under the attachment.
• Try the other product's format — people routinely try an account password on a card statement.
• Check whether the account predates a bank merger; legacy accounts sometimes keep the old bank's format.
• Call IndusInd support and ask for the e-statement password format for your specific account.
